Liquid Computing, Inc. Joins "Vyatta Ready" Partner Program, Extends Open-Source Networking to World's First Software Defined Real-Time Infrastructure

LiquidIQ, Now Vyatta Ready, Provides Data Center Customers with a High-Performance Networking and Computing Infrastructure with Better Manageability and Lower Costs

Los Altos, Calif. - February 11, 2008 - Liquid Computing, Inc., the developer of LiquidIQ, the industry-leading fabric computing architecture system, today announced that it has joined Vyatta, the leader in Linux-based networking in its Vyatta Ready Partner Program. Liquid Computing's LiquidIQ has passed interoperability testing with Vyatta software and is now approved as Vyatta Ready. The combination of technologies provides data center customers with a high-performance networking and computing infrastructure with better manageability and lower costs than other legacy solutions.

Liquid Computing delivers the world's first Software-Defined Real-Time Infrastructure (SD-RTI) providing system administrators with software-driven control over virtualized, reconfigurable pools of computing, communications and storage resources connected to a highly available, high performance, scalable communications fabric. LiquidIQ is an ideal service delivery platform for next generation virtual IP services. Vyatta combines networking protocol and security functions, such as router, firewall, and VPN, into an integrated, reliable, and commercially supported software solution that delivers twice the performance of proprietary network solutions at half the price.

"With LiquidIQ now approved as Vyatta Ready, customers who already enjoy the proven performance and cost advantages of our open-source networking solution, can confidently build out a LiquidIQ infrastructure to increase performance and reduce costs." said Dave Roberts, vice president of strategy and marketing at Vyatta. "The combination of Vyatta and LiquidIQ allows customers to build a converged data center all managed through a single interface that delivers all the power and performance required for a state-of-the-art data center, but without the high-cost and inflexibility of today's proprietary routers and typical 1U rackmount servers."

Vyatta software components are now easily deployed as logical elements on LiquidIQ and universally accessible by applications across the LiquidIQ fabric. Liquid Computing and Vyatta have teamed to create joint sales and marketing programs for enterprises and service providers.

"We are very pleased to be working with Vyatta and are proud to have our system approved as "Vyatta Ready", says Greg McElheran, CEO of Liquid Computing. "Using LiquidIQ and Vyatta, service providers can generate additional revenue while lowering their costs. Just as they have benefited by offering customers shared computing infrastructure, they can now offer virtualized router and firewall applications. Virtualized computing infrastructure is no longer sufficient - all aspects of data center infrastructure need to be virtualized."

About Liquid Computing, Inc.

Liquid Computing is the leading provider of a new generation of IT infrastructure, which Gartner calls Fabric Computing. Fabric Computing is disrupting the traditional rack mount server and switch configurations that are commonplace in data centers. The inflexibilities and high cost of typical data centers is driving adoption of Fabric Computing architectures such as LiquidIQ. LiquidIQ provides pools of computing, memory, networking and IO resources and allows for software defined creation of logical datacenter infrastructure - including servers, VLANs, subnets, storage gateways, firewalls, VPNs, etc. Flexibility is infinite. Costs are an order of magnitude reduced. For more information, visit www.liquidcomputing.com.
