1. Oracle software stack combined with LiquidIQ provides new application deployment flexibility
All components inside LiquidIQ are virtualized, independently scalable and managed by a telecom grade control plane. This allows database servers, mid-tier servers and other application servers to be scaled up independently with respect to processor, memory, IO and networking capabilities. This is ideal for application loads that vary over time or infrastructure that needs to be dynamically allocated depending on changing business needs.
2. 'Oracle VM Anywhere' infrastructure
The fabric computing architecture of LiquidIQ removes all of the networking constraints of typical data center setups. Oracle VM technology can be deployed without any network constraints for migration and load balancing across host servers. The scalable continuous fabric inside LiquidIQ allows VMs to be migrated to any location over extremely high quality guaranteed network connections and constant access to storage. The software defined servers, networking and IO pipes of LiquidIQ are an ideal complement to hypervisor deployments such as Oracle VM.
3. 'Oracle RAC Anywhere' infrastructure
Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle RAC, requires dedicated communications pipes in order to perform to specifications. Many RAC implementations are constrained by the need for private and public interconnects between RAC instances. LiquidIQ’s fabric computing architecture allows for RAC instances to be placed on any compute module in a chassis or across chassis. The LiquidIQ fabric provides dedicated and protected communication pipes between all RAC instances to provide a resilient and flexible RAC implementation.
